Retreat Operations & Guest Experience

This is a hands-on hospitality role for someone who is exceptionally organized, warm with people, comfortable working independently, and very good at keeping track of a great many moving pieces at once.

The role sits at the intersection of guest experience, retreat operations, reservations, and property logistics. On any given day, that might mean corresponding with an upcoming retreat leader, organizing airport transfers, updating itineraries and rooming lists, coordinating meals and activities with our team, preparing for arriving guests, managing reservations and payments, or solving the inevitable last-minute puzzle that comes with running a small and highly personalized property.

Our retreat groups require particularly close attention. The person in this role works with retreat leaders before and throughout their stay to coordinate schedules, guest details, dietary requirements, transportation, activities, massages, meals, special requests, and the many small details that make a group experience feel effortless.

Because Peacock Pavilions is a small property, this is not a narrowly defined hotel position. We are looking for someone who notices what needs doing, communicates clearly, follows through, and is equally comfortable behind a laptop and walking the property to make sure everything is where it needs to be.

Strong written and spoken English is essential. French is a bonus, and familiarity with Morocco, Marrakech, hospitality, retreats, events, or travel operations is an advantage.

Above all, this position suits someone who is calm under pressure, genuinely enjoys taking care of people, has an excellent eye for detail, and understands that good hospitality is often about noticing something before anyone has to ask.

Living & Working at Peacock Pavilions

This is a live-on-property position. The person in this role is provided accommodation at Peacock Pavilions and is expected to live onsite for the duration of their employment.

Peacock Pavilions is located approximately 30 minutes outside central Marrakech, so candidates should be comfortable with both the beauty and the realities of living outside the city and working where they live.

Because our work revolves around guests and retreats, this is not a traditional Monday-to-Friday position. Schedules shift according to property operations, group arrivals and departures, retreat programming, and guest needs. Some periods are considerably busier than others, and flexibility is an important part of the role.

For someone who enjoys immersive hospitality, working closely with a small team, and being deeply involved in the day-to-day life of a property, it can be an unusual and rewarding way to experience Marrakech.

The Commitment

Continuity matters enormously to our guests, retreat leaders, and team. For that reason, this position requires a two-year minimum contractual commitment.
